 One-Day Defibrillation Course

1.  Once you have identified a suitable course you should complete the booking form, alternatively you can contact Pro-Aid via email should you have any queries or require any further information.

2.  Payment should be made 4 weeks prior to the course start date, we accept payment via cheque/bacs in advance with your booking.  Arrangements can also be made should a course be booked less than 4 weeks from the course start date.  Alternatively you can choose to make payment on receipt of an invoice within 14 days of completion the course.

3. If you have to cancel the course, the following charges will apply:  More than 4 weeks notice prior to the first day of course - No charge.  Less than 4 weeks notice given prior to first day of course starting, half of the course cost applies.

4. If you do not attend a course, and have not previously informed us, the full course fee remains payable.

5. One candidate can be substituted for another at any time prior to the course start date and no fee is charged.

6. If you arrive late for a course, or are absent from any session, then we reserve the right to refuse to accept you for training if we feel you will gain insufficient knowledge or skills in the time remaining. In all cases, the full course fee remains payable. (Minimum attendance requirements are set by the accrediting bodies).

7. We reserve the right to cancel any course if there are insufficient numbers to run a viable course.  In these circumstances, you will be given as much notice as possible and given the option to transfer to another course date, or a full refund of any fees paid.

Guidelines for candidates and employers:

The duties of a First Aider can be physically demanding.  It is the employer's responsibility to ensure that candidates are free from any condition which
would affect their capacity, and that they have the aptitude to cope with an intensive course of study.

We welcome candidates with disabilities for training, but it remains the
Employer's responsibility to ensure that they are appropriately supported in their workplace.

Pro-aid training is fully insured and the policy includes cover for malpractice and public liability to £5,000,000.

For First Aid Bookings only:
To be eligible to attend a two day re-qualification course, candidates must be in possession of a valid First Aid at Work Certificate issued by an HSE approved provider, which is in date on the first day of the re-qualification course.

Your company may not realise that many of these courses are a requirement for todays working environment. All the training given is H.S.E. approved with full support and back up. Pro-Aid Training is fully insured and the policy includes cover for Malpractice and Public liability to 5,000,000.
